STORY OF MISBAH SHABBIR AN UNDERPRIVILEGED STUDENT AT HOPE HIGH SCHOOL, ZIA COLONY, KORANGI.

This is the success story of Misbah Shabbir D/O Muhammad Shabbir, who belongs to Karachi.  Misbah faced to tough time during her childhood, her mother had passed away she was very young, and her father is a labour who earns daily wage salary.

Misbah has always had the interest in studies, she was a smart student, and used to get good grades, her father wanted her to study well, but could not afford to pay the tuition fees, hence seeing her interest in studies her father had got her admission done in HOPE High School Zia Colony, Korangi. Where he told about their financial situation, upon which HOPE completely waved off the tuition fees throughout her schooling. The other educational supplies related costs were also sponsored by HOPE – An Educational NGO in Pakistan. HOPE has never charged a single penny from Misbah in all these years.  HOPE has also provided the essential items required for education like school bag, stationary, lunch box, text books, copies etc.

Misbah passed her matric from HOPE Zia School.  She is now a teacher and teaches islamiat in school. Through which she supports in the house.  Misbah recently got married to a tailor. She personally believes the stage she is at right now it is because of the support of HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan. 

Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi, monitors the progress of each of her school very closely, and encourages the education of such children who have high ambitions but cannot afford school fees. Such students can be made capable enough of getting a respectable job and earing an income that could improve the conditions of their family.
