DISTRIBUTION OF COOKED FOOD AMONG THE RURAL AREAS OF KORANGI

Communities residing in far flung and rural areas across Karachi are indeed very poor an.  HOPE provides help to them in the form of food distribution. Recently in the underprivileged communities of the society; HOPE has distributed cooked food among the children and the underprivileged families in different rural areas.

HOPE - A Health NGO in Pakistan, brought joy among the communities of Korangi 100 Quarter and of Bilal Colony Korangi, by their act of kindness. They did this by serving cooked food among the underprivileged people residing in these communities, as well as the patients at its MCH Centers.  The team members of HOPE served the people and patients the delicious Biryani. The folks residing in these communities were grateful with joy for such a yummy treat. Their pure joy was reflected in their eyes.

Approximately 500 plus Biryani packets where dispersed. The biryani packets which were distributed among the communities of Bilal Colony and Korangi 100 Quarter, brought a huge smile on their faces. HOPE - An NGO in Pakistan often conducts such cooked food distribution activities at its schools, hospitals and MCH centers.

The locals of these communities belong to lower class families, who are not blessed with such lavish meals very often as they cannot afford to buy them such meals. Hence on receiving the biryani one could see the joy and happiness in their eyes. The smiles drawn on the faces of these children were priceless.

Under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi, HOPE aims to not only reach out, but to completely eliminate poverty, illiteracy, and hunger. HOPE welcomes individuals and organizations who want to play their role in helping HOPE to achieve its target.

HOPE HAS ESTABLISHED AN MCH CENTER AT MUZAFFARGARH PUNJAB

At HOPE - A Health NGO in Pakistan we believe maternal health is particularly important because of the impacts it has on the future generations and communities. Not only does access to good quality maternal healthcare ensure the good health of a mother, but her good health also helps to ensure the good health of her newborn child and the rest of her family.

Yousuf Foundation joined hands with HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan, for the establishment of 3 MCH Centers to be built in rural areas in Pakistan. Two of which were built in Garhi Habibullah, KPK and the other at Mansehra, KPK. While the third and most recent one was recently constructed at Basti Shakirwali Mozah Jesalwain, Jhang Road, Muzaffargarh, Punjab.

Muzaffargarh, Punjab. The inauguration of which was conducted on 19th October 2023.

This is a 5 bed MCH Center, consisting of a delivery room, C-Section machine, oxygen, medicines, nebulizers.  The staff in this MCH Center consists of an LHV, Dispenser and a cleaner. The types of medical problems faced here are mostly flu, cold, cough, skin problems, diarrhea, maternity and gynecological related complains.  People living in rural areas have no access to primary health care facilities which leads to sever health complications which may even result in death.

It has been just 3 weeks since the MCH at Muzaffargarh started and so far it has been doing quite well. Approximately 25-30 OPD and general patients visit this MCH on daily basis, and the number of patients per day is increasing with every passing day. The patients of that area spread their positive experience about our MCH among their relatives and friends circle, which increases awareness through which more patients can benefit.

Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla A Child Specialist in Karachi, who is also the founder and Chairperson of HOPE; from the very beginning has been striving hard and collaborating with local as well as International organizations through which they can support us in our cause in providing health care facilities and services to the need communities throughout Pakistan, by establishing Hospitals, Mobile Health Units, Mother & Child Healthcare and other Clinics, where patients are treated at a minimal or free of cost.

After the successful event of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi at the HOPE Head office, Gurumandir Hospital, Thatta, Muzaffargarh and other centers in Karachi, the Staff of HOPE Zia School arranged the celebration of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi on Friday the 27th of October 2023 at 05:00 pm.

Eid Milad-un-Nabi is the birthday of the Prophet and is observed in a similar way by Muslims around the world. The third month in Islamic Calendar, Rabi Al Awwal falls after the holy month of Muharram and Safar. 'Milad un Nabi', this day is observed as a public holiday in many countries with a large Muslim population as it commemorates the anniversary of the birth of the founder of Islam and the proclaimer of the Quran.

At the Milad gatherings, all the students and staff members of HOPE Karachi Formal and Informal Schools, as well as Hospitals of HOPE - An NGO in Pakistan take an active part. Students and teachers prepare naats and remember the teaching of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Remembering his teachings gives a sense of forgiveness and satisfaction to the people who are working for the betterment of this society by extending a helping hand towards the poor.

Each year Eid-e-Milad un Nabi is celebrated in the schools and hospitals of HOPE – An Educational NGO in Pakistan, to bring religious unity among the students and staff members. It also gives a chance to the students to show their talent. Competitions are held in all the schools and prizes are distributed.

The Zia School Milad concluded with a special “Dua” made to heal the pain of all Muslims and ease their hardships. The “Dua” ended with best wishes for the progress of HOPE so that it will continue its efforts with more enthusiasm to serve the poor people in Pakistan under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi. Delicious snacks and sweets were distributed among the guests at the end of Milad.
