Milaad is the observance of
the birthday of Islamic prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) which
is commemorated in Rabi ul Awwal. Rabi ul Awwal is the third month as per
Islamic calendar. It is celebrated by Muslims all over the world with full
enthusiasm and zeal. In every country, there are different ways of celebrating
Eid Milaad Un Nabi, but in Pakistan it is celebrated by performing prayers in
mosques. Mosques are decorated with lights and Naats are recited in honor of
Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).There is a public holiday on 12th Rabi ul Awwal, the birth date of
Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). Food items are also distributed among the needy and
poor people on this occasion.
HOPE-an NGO in Pakistan, always makes an effort to keep the
tradition alive for religious events, therefore HOPE organized a grand function
for the vast celebration of Eid Milaad Un Nabi in Thatta. It was a well
organized event with great preparations of audio and seating arrangements.
Students from HOPE schools participated in the event, recited
Naats and Durood Sharif. All colleagues from various HOPE hospitals and schools
attended the event with full zeal and zest. HOPE-An Educational NGO in Pakistan,
aims to provide students and teachers the platform where they can show
their hidden talent in the form of recitation of Holy Quran and Naats with
their beautiful voices in remembrance of the life of Holy Prophet (SAWW).
The event started with the name of Allah and onwards Naat
Khuwans, teachers and students recited Naats in their melodious voices which
involved the audience more in the feeling of devotion. Everyone gathered
together for the celebration of this fortunate occasion. In the end, Durood
Sharif was recited and special Dua was made for the growth of HOPE, snacks and
sweets were distributed among all audience.
Under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla-A Child
Specialist in Karachi, HOPE will continue to keep the spirit alive
of traditional and Islamic events and will continue to arrange such events.
