Rabi ul Awwal is the third month according to the Islamic
calendar. It is the commemoration of Hazrat Muhammad’s (P.B.U.H) birthday. It
is declared as an official holiday in Pakistan. Muslims celebrate this day
wholeheartedly with prayers and recite naats in honor of Huzoor Pak (SAWW). Religious
scholars pay glowing tributes to the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) for his great
and remarkable services, through conveying and flourishing the message of Allah
Almighty to the audience present in Mehfil - e - Milaad.
Considering the significance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (P.B.U.H.)
the day was celebrated at different centers of HOPE in Karachi and Thatta. The
objective of this celebration was to pay homage to the Prophet Muhammad
(P.B.U.H.) for his greatest and divine services to Islam and mankind.
HOPE-an NGO in Pakistan, kept its tradition alive of
arranging religious events and organized a grand function on this prosperous
occasion with tremendous efforts by HOPE Zia School teachers and students. The colleagues
and students of various schools gathered together for this event.
The event started with the
recitation of Holy Quran. Hamds and Naats were recited by children of all
classes as well as few teachers. Everyone
recited Qaseeda Burda Shareef with full spirit. Stories and incidents from his
life of morals, such as forgiveness, kindheartedness, bravery, wisdom, honesty,
and lovingness were quoted. HOPE-An Educational NGO in Pakistan, always
tries its best to encourage students to participate in such events which helps
them to show their respect and love for Prophet (P.B.U.H).
The Milaad concluded with a
special “Dua” to heal the pain of all Muslims and ease their hardships. Also a special
“Dua” was made for HOPE to grow more in future under the supervision of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla-A Child
