A visit to Japanese Calendar Exhibition.

Art has always been incorporated as a learning subject in the school’s curricula. Art has the ability to open one’s mind and inquire about the world. It has been used as a power to express one’s thoughts, feelings and emotions about what one thinks.

Keeping that in mind, the children studying at HOPE Formal School Karachi were taken to the calendar exhibition at Japan Consulate along with their teachers. The children were delighted to see beautiful, colorful and artistic calendars. These calendars included pictures of Japanese culture, nature and animals etc. The students were also shown a video about Japan and its traditions and culture.

The students immensely enjoyed their time there and found it extremely informative and exciting. They expressed greater curiosity towards learning more about Japanese people and their culture. HOPE - a health NGO in Pakistan gets further drive and inspiration from such students in continuing its work towards improving the educational situation of Pakistan.

Creativity is an inner source to express   one’s feelings; it may increase through different experience, knowledge, experiments, acquiring new skills etc. For this purpose HOPE - an educational NGO in Pakistan seeks different ways to make its students more creative and competitive.

Moreover, students are regularly taken to field trips and exhibitions etc in order to expose them to different cultural aspects of the world around them as these trips and visits are recognized as important moments in learning.

HOPE, under the guidance of Chairperson
Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - Child Specialist in Karachi, makes sure to bring the best out of its students and to allow them to get involved in diverse interests as it is important for them to be very diverse in their interests.
