HOPE DISTRIBUTES RATION AND COOKED FOOD IN THE RURAL AREAS OF KARACHI

A Large number of Pakistan’s population is deprived of the basic necessities of life, from which one of the most important aspects is food. In a recent study conducted by the US, Pakistan ranks 106 among the 119 countries on Global Hunger Index and is expected to rise in the near future. HOPE - A Health NGO in Pakistan, carrying out its philanthropic activities is in one way responsible to feed these hunger deprived populations. Communities residing in far flung areas across Karachi are indeed very poor. Hence, HOPE does not forget them and provides them foo, ration and other essentials of life.

On Friday 3rd May 2024 HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan distributed ration sacks, ghee, cooking oil and cooked food to the needy families in the areas of Korangi 100 Quarter, Mujahid Colony and Bilal Colony. Which were distributed among the students of HOPE Home Schools as well as patients of its MCH Centres.

Around 100 ration bags were distributed among the patients’ families at the MCH Centers and people residing in the nearby areas. Along with ration; cooked food and ghee were given to the students and families of the vicinity.

The Field staff of HOPE distributed ration, ghee and cooked food to ensure that those needy folks are catered by the support of HOPE as always. HOPE has been trying its level best from the very beginning in assisting the population of these poverty-stricken areas to minimize the difficulties of their lives for several years now, this time in the form of Ration distribution.

Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi, leads HOPE towards achieving greater heights and brings people out of their misery and sufferings by carrying out such philanthropic activities.
