HOPE - An Educational NGO in Pakistan is like a glowing candle in the darkness by providing equal opportunities of growth for young girls and boys, to become financially strong and independent by educating them with different skill sets.
This is why HOPE along with education and its schools also
focuses on Vocational Education. Vocational Education is based on occupation
and employment and it is the need of the hour for our nation right now during
this economic crisis. It can be defined as skilled-based education. Vocational
Education helps in Economic growth.
HOPE Vocational Centers consist of Computer Classes and
Sewing Classes. The Sewing Class
provides training of cutting, sewing, stitching and embroidery. Shifts are set
in a way that not only the local women but the women from other nearby
localities can also come to get training there. They can easily manage their
family responsibilities side by side this training. While the Computer Classes
consist of using Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. As well as typing and
drawing.
Vocational Education Training has been found to have an
important effect on career development, which is why Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla
– A Child Specialist in Karachi, has given a lot of emphasis for students
and adults to pursue vocational training. Vocational training can enhance the
employability of individuals and organizations by equipping them with skills
that are in demand in the marketplace.
HOPE – A Health
NGO in Pakistan,
monitors these centers very closely and ensures that the best of efforts are
made at all times. With successful Vocational Centers already running in the
slum areas of Karachi and far-flung areas of Pakistan, such as Badin, Sindh,
Muzaffargarh, Punjab, Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
