Education is a neglected field in Pakistan and data shows that
primary school enrollment is very low in Pakistan. In addition nearly 30% of
children drop out from the 3rd class on-wards. Generally parents cannot afford
to send their children to school. Parents with five to six children cannot
afford school fees, books and uniforms.
HOPE- an educational NGO in Pakistan has been a precursor in providing free
and quality education within its means to eradicate illiteracy in Pakistan,
under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla- child specialist in Karachi. HOPE has 4 formal schools and 200
informal schools in different districts all over Pakistan serving
underprivileged communities and people of remote areas.
As previously mentioned, that HOPE- an NGO in Pakistan has joined hands with Sindh Education
Foundation in order to provide free and quality education to the
underprivileged masses belonging to the remote areas of Sindh.
Adding to these efforts HOPE has setup a temporary school for
the children of Badin to avoid gaps between children’s education. Meanwhile,
HOPE has been trying hard to benefit as many children as possible from this
program by enrolling them in this school. For such purpose HOPE has adopted
many advertising methods to get attention from the locals. In addition, HOPE
has initiated construction of Middle and High school at Khorwa Chok- Badin
district.
The
children that will be enrolled in HOPE Middle and High School will receive
quality education at free of cost which will be equal to the urban education.
This will help children to compete with confidence and meet the market demands.
Eventually, by taking such initiative HOPE-a educational NGO in Pakistan in
brightening the future of each children come across the way of HOPE’s efforts.
