HOPE – An Educational NGO in Pakistan has several High Schools established throughout Pakistan, form which one of its Formal High school is located in Zia Colony, Korangi, Karachi. The people living in this area are deprived form luxury and comfort. They cannot afford to send their children to schools. Some of them, especially girls are stuck at home and others end up working in fields or other places to earn and to carry the burden of their family expenses. Following the establishment of HOPE School Karachi, almost all of the children resided in the impoverished communities headed to our door in the hope of getting quality education. Students studying in our school constantly prove their potential by their outstanding academic performances throughout the year.
On Monday, 04th June 2024, HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan, arranged
an Annual function at its Karachi School, to celebrate their success which
encourages them to increase their potentials. The Annual function is one of the
most awaited events at HOPE Schools for which all students wait eagerly the
whole year to show their action, dance performance skills which they have been
practicing all along. The students had
prepared tableaus and skits. Their performances on stage brought out the hidden
talent in them and it proved that they are underprivileged children, but
possess the ability to compete with others and excel in life. They performed on
different folk songs, cultural songs and patriotic songs. The students also
made motivational speech on various topics. It showed their depth of knowledge
and confidence.
The performance of teachers and students are assessed
throughout the year. Based upon the performance report, The chairperson of HOPE
Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla – A
Child Specialist in Karachi, presented shields to the best teacher,
best student and best outstanding performance of the year. Prize distribution
ceremony was followed by snacks. The
students were given delicious snacks and juice.
