HOPE CELEBRATES EID-E-MILAD UN NABI AT ITS HEAD OFFICE

The 12th Rabi-ul-Awal marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Eid-e-Milad un Nabi, is the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which is remembered with religious zeal. The roads and buildings across the country are decorated with lightings and buntings. People are deeply devoted in prayers. People marched in rallies wearing colorful dresses. Religious festivities are the part of Pakistani society; it promotes religious and cultural values.

As the tradition lives on just like every year various religious programs are arranged at HOPE - An NGO in Pakistan, the occasion of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi at HOPE Head office was arranged on Friday 22nd September 2023. HOPE made tremendous seating and audio arrangements for the function. A grand function was celebrated with full zeal and zest. All students and staff members from various schools and hospitals were gathered together for this prosperous occasion. Naats and Durood Pak were recited in remembrance of the life of Holy Prophet (PBUH).




The event started by the recitation of Holy Quran. Students of HOPE’s schools recited naats in their beautiful voices. HOPE - An Educational NGO in Pakistan is always doing its best to create opportunities  which allows its  students to reveal their hidden talents, and on this occasion it was a great opportunity for the students to show their love for the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) in their beautiful voices. Naats were recited by famous Naat Khuwans, Teachers and students in the way that it engaged the audience in the feeling of devotion.  Everyone celebrated the day with complete happiness and zeal.

Under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi, the event went very successful. The planning was well done by the staff of HOPE, At the end everyone was served with burger, french-fries, sweets and cold drinks.

HOPE ESTABLISHES AN MCH CENTER AT MANSEHRA, KPK

HOPE – A Health NGO in Pakistan has strongly emphasized on the concept of primary health care that focuses more on the importance of community participation by identifying some of the basic health needs required by the people living in the society based on economical factors. It includes the basic facilities required for meeting one’s everyday health care needs like conducting a regular checkup, maternity and child health care, basic OPD facilities.

Basic health care refers to the essential health care made accessible to individuals in a community at a cost which they can afford. The medical infrastructure and the healthcare facilities’ in Azad Jammu and Kashmir are insufficient as compared to the ratio of its population. Hence after the establishment and running of the MCH at Murad Abad, Kashmir. HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan has set up a new MCH center in the District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through the blessings and funding’s of its donors.

To cater the existing issue HOPE has established another MCH Center at Baidrah, Mansehra, KPK.  Which is another maternal and child healthcare center where the primary motive is to provide medical services free of cost to the poor and needy. The area of KPK is a mountainous area where there are barely any roads or Infrastructure. People barely have access to hospitals and clinics nearby within their reach. Hence this MCH will serve as a blessing to all those areas near this clinic.









This MCH is free of cost like every other MCH of HOPE. It is operated by a qualified Lady Health Visitor (LHV), a dispenser and a maid. Treatment for men, women and children are being provided free of cost.

After viewing the success of the MCH at Murad Abad, Chikar, Jhelum Valley, Azad Kashmir Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi, felt the need to open another MCH Center in the district of KPK,  she plans on establish more MCH Centers to improve the health inequality of the needy communities in Pakistan.

COOKING STOVE DISTRIBUTION PROJECT BY HOPE AND REVIVE ENVIRONMENT (PVT) LTD.

HOPE in collaboration with Revive Environment (Pvt) Ltd.  Have taken an initiative to provide stoves to the underprivileged areas of the society.  Areas where Natural Gas lines are not accessible and people who do cannot afford LPG cylinders.  The areas where people will have access to cooking without any cost.  The plan is to provide stoves which works with one of the most traditional and basic methods, by burring fire wood in the stoves.

The primary objective of Revive Environment (Pvt) Ltd. is to create a renewable source of living for the environment by removing carbon foot prints. At the same time helping the communities.  While the basic objective of HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan is also to help the communities, who are less privileged. 


The plan is to distribute 60,000 cost efficient stoves to poor communities starting from Sujawal and Badin over a period of 2 years. 

The collaboration between HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan and Revive Environment (Pvt) Ltd is aimed at providing the opportunity for cost efficient stoves, to the underprivileged and poor communities of Sujawal and Badin District.

Furthermore, both agree to enter into a long-term multi-faceted strategic partnership by combining their core competencies to ensure that poor and underprivileged masses receive the benefits of an economical cooking solution.


Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla – A Child Specialist in Karachi, who is also the Chairperson of HOPE, highly appreciates and encourages to partner up with other organizations who have a similar approach like HOPE, which is to help the needy communities of the society. Those who have no one to look upon them. 

After the successful distribution of cooking stoves in the districts of Sujawal and Badin, HOPE pans distribute these stoves in other regions of Pakistan as well.

HOPE’s VENTURE TO PROVIDE CLEAN DRINKING WATER THROUGHOUT PAKISTAN

Access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene is the most basic human need for health and well-being. Demand for Clean drinking water is rising owing to rapid population growth, urbanization and increasing water needs.

The United Nations considers universal access to clean water a basic human right, and an essential step towards improving living standards worldwide. Water-poor communities are typically economically poor as well, their residents trapped in an ongoing cycle of poverty. Keeping this problem in mind HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan in collaboration with Procter & Gamble, together are working on making clean drinking water accessible by spreading P&G Purifier of Water to their door steps of the people who have no access to clean drinking water throughout Pakistan.






P&G has authorized HOPE – A Health NGO in Pakistan as its official distributor of P&G Pur Sachets. In addition, HOPE a charitable NGO in Pakistan, also provides back-up support in the form of training, IEC material, social marketing and advocacy of P&G Purifier of Water. P&G Purifier of Water is extensively used for providing safe drinking water to affected people in disaster zones. It is distributed in 4-gram sachets-ample for purifying up to 10 liters of brackish water. Compared with other products available in the market, P&G Purifier of Water has the advantage of leaving no salty or sour after-taste. To date, HOPE has distributed 70 million sachets across the country under the supervision of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi.

The aim of this activity is to benefit the local community while making clean water accessible to all who are unable to purchase drinking water.  Hence reducing the morbidities especially among children. This will also provide them opportunity to improve standards of living while improving health status.
