HOPE- An NGO in Pakistan, works for the betterment of the society and has always been striving to bring quality education and healthcare to thousands of poverty-stricken Pakistanis, helping them lead a better life. With its mission to spread hope and happiness especially to those down trodden and underprivileged women and children.
In the past week Proctor and Gamble Pakistan Limited donated
warm clothes, blankets and other clothing items for distribution among the
underprivileged communities of the society, especially during the winter
season, to protect them from the freezing nights. Procter & Gamble Company
(P&G) is an American multinational consumer goods. It specializes in a wide
range of personal health/consumer health, personal care and hygiene products.
These items were distributed by our HOPE team, among the
students of HOPE schools and the locals of communities residing inthe areas of rural
areas of Sindh, Badin and Kashmir etc.
This donation made things a lot easier for the
underprivileged people who are not able to achieve such items on normal basis,
as they are already busy struggling to fulfil the daily ration needs and
provide food on the table for their children and families.
The students who study in these schools are the children of
laborers, drivers, maids who work in the houses to earn a living for them.
These students are living under the poverty line. Even the thought of having
books and going to school is nothing but a mere imagination and a dream for the
children studying in these schools
With each passing year HOPE
– A Health NGO in Pakistan welcomes more and more volunteers and companies
like P&G who want to donate whole heartedly, so that HOPE can continue to
carry out such activities in the future to come. Under the Leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla- A Child Specialist
in Karachi, HOPE strives to achieve great heights of success by
eradicating illiteracy, poverty and hunger in the near future
