The Holy month Ramadan has always brought joy to the Muslims,
but unfortunately the case is not always true for people who are deprived of
basic needs. Dr. Mubina
Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi not only understands the
importance of education for the impoverished and how it can help create a
positive impact in improving their lives, she also takes care of the
opportunities she can provide to give them some moments to cherish specially
during Ramadan. Under her leadership, HOPE -An
NGO in Pakistan is making ends meet to share the bounties with the
underprivileged communities in every nook and corner of Pakistan. Muzaffargarh
is one such far flung area of Punjab where HOPE strives to achieve great heights
of success by eradicating illiteracy, poverty and hunger.
Being a deliverer of happiness and joy to thousands of
poverty-stricken Pakistanis, HOPE - An
Educational NGO in Pakistan, arranged Iftar for the students of HOPE
Formal School, Muzaffargarh. The students were seated in long rows for the
iftar. Their excitement seemed to rise when a variety of food items were served
to them. HOPE pays particular attention on the selection and preparation of the
iftar items. Everything was closely monitored to ensure that every child at the
HOPE School Muzaffargarh was served good quality food items. Dates, samosas,
pakoras, jalebis, bananas and melons were part of the menu which was served to
them. Sherbet was also served to them that added as the most desirable item on
the table. The children enjoyed the iftar party with their fellow students
among happy chatters and giggles.
The iftar was a long awaited event for these underserved
children of HOPE School Muzaffargarh, who were extremely happy to open their fast
together.
Prayers were conducted before the iftar distribution in which
Quran Khani was recited. This iftar
distribution was done in the last Ashra of Ramadan. Spreading smiles by
arranging iftars and distributing Eid gifts to the less fortunate ones is
indeed a great sense of satisfaction and source of immense pleasure for HOPE
staff as well as various philanthropists who contribute for this campaign
