HOPE TRIES TO MAKE RAMADAN A TRUE BLESSING FOR NEEDY


HOPE – an NGO in Pakistan, takes pride in carrying out innumerable philanthropic activities. As each year passes more and more projects and collaboration come our way which adds a feather in our cap as we go.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Muhammad according to Islamic belief. For Muslims, Ramadan is a month of fasting, prayer, reflection and community. It is the month when Muslims donate hefty amounts to those who are less fortunate than them.
Specifically in the month of Ramadan, HOPE multiplies its humanitarian acts by distributing the following items in the downtrodden slums of Sindh:

  2.          Gifts
  3.          Clothes
  4.          Books
  5.          School bags
  6.          School stationery
  7.          Lunch box
  8.          Food packets
  9.      Ration Bags



 




HOPE also accepts zakat in this holy month. Iftar parties are organized in collaboration with many organizations as part of their CSR activity.

HOPE tries to provide education to all, especially the underprivileged masses. Under the vigorous leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla- child specialist in Karachi, most of the organization’s activities are focused primarily on the rural and urban slum areas of Pakistan. HOPE works extensively to provide quality education, free of cost to the underprivileged who cannot afford to send their children to schools.

Currently HOPE- an Educational NGO in Pakistan is running 03 Formal Schools and 180 Home Schools in urban and rural areas of Pakistan with more than 11,000 children from poor and impoverished families.


In addition, HOPE exudes excellence and professionalism in the field of health care. 04 HOPE General hospitals providing world class healthcare facilities for underprivileged individuals in down-trodden areas in Karachi, Thatta and Sujawal. Furthermore, HOPE operates 04 Maternal and Child Health Care Centers and 02 Mobile Health Units provide health services daily in the rural areas of Sindh.
