HOPE Celebrates Annual Day of HOPE School in Thatta

HOPE, an educational NGO in Pakistan, has played a vital role in providing free of cost quality education in the country for around fifteen years. It carries out a variety of activities to encourage its students who perform well in their respective classes.

HOPE recently held its annual result ceremony of Thatta School in the month of May. HOPE, an NGO in Pakistan arranges this event every year to encourage its students to achieve more and to appreciate those who work hard.

 The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an followed by Naat which was recited by a female student. Students were excited to be part of this event as children from every class had a chance to show their talent. 

“This is a great way of enhancing the confidence level of the children” said Attiya, a grade 7^th teacher. 

The event was packed with other numerous performances and skits by the school children, who had put in great effort in making the event entertaining. There was a special dance performance by the children of HOPE school Thatta and the audience thoroughly enjoyed watching it. The students, who stood first, second and third in their respective classes were presented with gifts to further encourage their hard work. All the guests highly appreciated the program. The Chairperson of HOPE, Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla Child Specialist Karachi congratulated the position holders and their parents and appreciated the efforts of the teachers.

The event was arranged by the HOPE staff at the school itself, and was attended by many guests who hailed all the way from Karachi.  Our distinguished guests distributed trophies among the position holders. School bags & Stationery items were also given to the kids at the end of the event sponsored by HOPE.

There is no doubt that education is a neglected field in Pakistan. Many civil society organizations are working towards educating the undeserved living in both rural and urban areas.  HOPE also has a fair share in providing free of cost education to the underprivileged children so that they can gain knowledge and become an educated and citizen of Pakistan
