Students of Zia School Visited Commecs College for Fun Biz Gala


Extracurricular activities are the part of a Student’s life. These activities help students to improve and grow their social skills. Extracurricular activities include sports, debates, exhibitions, galas and many more in which students can participate.  Extracurricular activities play an important role in the development of student’s personality during school life.

Apart from academics, schools also focus on social activities for their students to make them feel relaxed from their regular routine of tough studies. It helps children to learn new and useful skills.  HOPE-An Educational NGO in Pakistan, always makes an effort to arrange such social activities for the mental and physical growth of children.  

Commecs College, organized the Entrepreneurship Gala by the name Fun biz, the basic purpose of an Entrepreneurship gala is that it provides the young generation with hands on experience of doing a small business. Commecs College invited secondary students of HOPE Zia School to attend their function, have fun with games and other activities. Students of Commecs College arranged different food stalls, games corner and rides for children. Students of HOPE Zia School were also given gift vouchers from Students of Commecs College, so they could enjoy all the activities and eat their favorite food. It was a day filled with fun and enjoyment, students were very happy to be a part of the Fun Biz Gala.






HOPE-an NGO in Pakistan, always focus on providing quality education to children who cannot afford, due to family financial crisis. HOPE also helps them by providing books, bags and other stationary items. Apart from studies, HOPE also joins hands with different individual donors to work for the growth of children and arrange different physical social activities. Schools must conduct such trips to help students learn and experience new activities.

STUDENTS OF SZABIST PHILANTHROPIC ACTIVITY AT ZIA SCHOOL


Charity originates from the heart. Charity is the other name of sharing happiness. Contributing towards the underprivileged is like enlightening your own soul. As per the famous quote “You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you”. Charitable activity consists of donating basic human needs such as food, books, clothes, ration and educational items etc; basically items that can help the underprivileged in their daily life. There’s no better gift in giving back to the community, in order to make someone’s life better. Being a helping hand gives you an internal satisfaction and purifies your soul.

HOPE-an NGO in Pakistan, is a non-profit organization which always aims towards an educated and healthy society, where everyone has equal rights. HOPE works for the benefit of underprivileged communities, who are unable to receive quality education and health services.

SZABIST (Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology) provides quality educational services to its students. Apart from academics it also focuses on social welfare in which they organize different charitable and social activities, leading towards a self sufficiency and sustainable living in the society. SZABIST team consisting of four group members visited HOPE’s Zia School, where they conducted a social activity by distributing bags, pencil pouches and activity books among the children of primary level. It was an activity full of fun; they also had an interactive question/answer session with the students.  The students felt honored to receive new bags and stationary items. It was a joyful and happy day for all kids.







HOPE-An Educational NGO in Pakistan, always makes an effort to organize such philanthropic activities along with the collaboration of different individual donors or institutions. Donations have the potential to drastically improve an individual’s quality of life. This is the main focus of HOPE to improve an individual’s life.

TYPHOID PREVENTION SESSION HELD AT HOPE ZIA SCHOOL


Typhoid is an acute illness associated with fever which is caused by the Salmonella Enterica Serotype Typhi bacteria. Typhoid Fever is caused by drinking or eating the bacteria present in contaminated food or water. It is a serious disease which is killed by using antibiotics; a proper vaccination is needed for its treatment. There are a lot of symptoms of typhoid fever such as headache, poor appetite, abdominal pain and many more. Pre Typhoid vaccination is given  to help people protect themselves from its occurrence.

The Government of Sindh initiated a program of immunization for the treatment of Typhoid in different districts of Karachi. A team of paramedics consisting of one doctor and five aid nurses visited HOPE’s Zia School, where they conducted a session on typhoid; related to the causes, symptoms and prevention from Typhoid fever. Furthermore the students of HOPE Zia School were given typhoid prevention vaccination through injections.







HOPE – a Health NGO in Pakistan conducts such preventive sessions for the sake of children to provide them a healthy life. About 188 children, of the age group between 3 years to 15 years old were given typhoid vaccination. This vaccination helps to protect against this disease and is about 50-55 percent effective when it comes to the prevention of typhoid. It was an open session where parents were also bringing their children who were not students of HOPE Zia School inorder to get them vaccinated.  The students who were studying in school were also coming along with their parents for the vaccination.

Doctors were also guiding the parents about how to take care of their children during typhoid fever, parents were being educated over the precautions from typhoid .  HOPE- an NGO in Pakistan always aims to provide better health to children and women and always works for their good health and education.
