HOPE AND ROBIN HOOD ARMY PAKISTAN ON THE MISSION TO FEED THE HUNGRY

HOPE-A Health NGO in Pakistan has been unrelentingly feeding hundreds of destitute people in the holy month of Ramadan as part of its Ramadan campaign for the past 9 years. This year, with the help of Robin Hood Army Pakistan, HOPE was able to include variety of food items in the menu to serve thousands of people who are socially deprived.  RHA Pakistan who manages to provide food for the lesser fortunate is a group of volunteers who are working to get surplus food from restaurants and the community to feed the underserved.

During Ramadan, HOPE teams used to collect the food provided by RHA Pakistan twice a day, bring it to the impoverished areas in scorching heat and distribute among the underserved communities. The food was served to the needy individuals in Bhitaiabad, Rehri Goth, Sachal Goth, Ghaggar, Link Road, Gadap, Gharo, Dhabeji, Zia Colony, Bilal Colony, Qayyumabad, Manzoor Colony, Mujahid Colony, Shanti Nagar, Sher Pao Nagar, Patel Para, Thatta, Sujawal etc. HOPE which mainly works to ease the hardships of the less fortunate ones, focuses on the poor women and children while distributing food or other goodies. Women, children and patients or handicapped individuals are usually deprived of the opportunities as they cannot go out and access food distributors in the presence of a large crowd. As a result of this prospect provided by Robin Hood Army Pakistan, HOPE has reached out to even a larger number of downtrodden communities during this Ramadan. Under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla-A Child Specialist in Karachi HOPE gave them an opportunity to enjoy the sumptuous food that they could only dream of.

HOPE has received 8130 food packets along with water and juices during the holy month from Robin Hood Army Pakistan, a zero-funds organization. Acts like this only strengthen our will to keep on going.  Donations from individuals and organizations like Robin Hood Army Pakistan made it possible for us to help in our aim to alleviate miseries of the poor and needy in various slums of Karachi and rural areas of Sindh. It has helped our cause immensely to feed a large number of poor individuals during Ramadan. More than 500 people were served daily during Ramadan. HOPE-An NGO in Pakistan ensures that, each person who looks towards it will be given at least one meal a day. A lot of individuals and volunteer organizations like Robin Hood Army Pakistan have joined in our cause and continue to do so as the years pass.

SHARING BOUNTIES WITH THE STUDENTS OF HOPE SCHOOLS AJK

HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan, launches its Ramadan campaign every year with great religious fervor. The campaign focuses over the underprivileged societies across Pakistan.

HOPE has been a forerunner when it comes to lighting up a child’s face by gifting them Eid clothes, holding multiple iftar parties and helping their families by distributing ration. Like every year, HOPE distributed Eid Clothes at Muzaffarabad, AJK for the students of HOPE Home Schools which are situated 6000 meters above sea level. Muzaffarabad is located 179 km away from Peshawar City. The Schools are located in different mountainous areas. Transportation is a major issue and many areas remain cutoff in winter due to snow. HOPE has a history of reaching and providing for people where others cannot reach out to those most in need.

HOPE – An Educational NGO in Pakistan, distributed biryani and juice boxes to the students of HOPE School at Muzaffarabad. The students were arranged and seated in several long rows before they could receive their biryani packets. Their happiness and level of excitement escalated when they were served the biryani and juice boxes. The management and preparation towards the event was very well delivered to ensure all school students were served with sufficient quantity.

Delicious biryani packets were served to the students of Muzaffarabad School; further more chilled juice boxes were distributed, which was the main item towards quenching the students thirst on a hot day. The students were further given Eid clothes and gifts, which were overwhelming, because their parents are not  privileged enough to afford new clothes for their children or buy them gifts, as all their income goes in arranging the basic necessities of life which is a massive challenge.  The Eid clothes and Gifts were very carefully selected to meet the sizes of the children. Students enjoyed the wholesome meal and went home with a big smile on their face.

With each passing year HOPE welcomes more and more volunteers and donations especially during the holy month of Ramzan when people want to donate whole heartedly, so that HOPE can continue to carry out such actives in the future to come. Under the Leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla- a child specialist in Karachi, HOPE strives to achieve great heights of success by eradicating illiteracy, poverty and hunger in the near future.

IFTAR AND EID CLOTHES DISTRIBUTION AT HOPE SCHOOL MUZAFFARGARH

Ramadan has always brought joy to the Muslims, but unfortunately the case is not always true for people who are deprived of basic needs. Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla-A Child Specialist in Karachi not only understands the importance of education for the impoverished and how it can help create a positive impact in improving their lives, she also takes care of the opportunities she can provide to give them some moments to cherish specially during Ramadan. Under her leadership, HOPE-An NGO in Pakistan is making ends meet to share the bounties with the underprivileged communities in every nook and corner of Pakistan. Muzaffargarh is one such far flung area of Punjab where HOPE strives to achieve great heights of success by eradicating illiteracy, poverty and hunger.

Being a deliverer of happiness and joy to thousands of poverty-stricken Pakistanis, HOPE-An Educational NGO in Pakistan, arranged Iftar for the students of HOPE Formal School, Muzaffargarh. The students were seated in long rows for the iftar. Their excitement seemed to rise when a variety of food items were served to them. HOPE pays particular attention on the selection and preparation of the iftar items. Everything was closely monitored to ensure that every child at the HOPE School Muzaffargarh was served good quality food items. Dates, samosas, pakoras, jalebis, bananas and melons were part of the menu which was served to them. Sherbet was also served to them that added as the most desirable item on the table. The children enjoyed the iftar party with their fellow students among happy chatters and giggles.

The iftar party was a long awaited event for these underserved children of HOPE School Muzaffargarh, who were extremely happy to open their fast together. Their happiness and level of excitement escalated further when they were given Eid clothes which are otherwise inaccessible for them like other necessities of life. The Eid clothes were selected carefully to suit their taste and according to their size. Their innocent faces glimmered when they went home with a contented heart.

HOPE, in collaboration with Human Concern International (HCI) and HOPE USA organized this iftar party and Eid clothes distribution in the last Ashra of Ramadan. Spreading smiles by arranging iftars and distributing Eid gifts to the less fortunate ones is indeed a great sense of satisfaction and source of immense pleasure for HOPE staff as well as various philanthropists who contribute for this campaign.
