Students of Zia School Visited Commecs College for Fun Biz Gala


Extracurricular activities are the part of a Student’s life. These activities help students to improve and grow their social skills. Extracurricular activities include sports, debates, exhibitions, galas and many more in which students can participate.  Extracurricular activities play an important role in the development of student’s personality during school life.

Apart from academics, schools also focus on social activities for their students to make them feel relaxed from their regular routine of tough studies. It helps children to learn new and useful skills.  HOPE-An Educational NGO in Pakistan, always makes an effort to arrange such social activities for the mental and physical growth of children.  

Commecs College, organized the Entrepreneurship Gala by the name Fun biz, the basic purpose of an Entrepreneurship gala is that it provides the young generation with hands on experience of doing a small business. Commecs College invited secondary students of HOPE Zia School to attend their function, have fun with games and other activities. Students of Commecs College arranged different food stalls, games corner and rides for children. Students of HOPE Zia School were also given gift vouchers from Students of Commecs College, so they could enjoy all the activities and eat their favorite food. It was a day filled with fun and enjoyment, students were very happy to be a part of the Fun Biz Gala.






HOPE-an NGO in Pakistan, always focus on providing quality education to children who cannot afford, due to family financial crisis. HOPE also helps them by providing books, bags and other stationary items. Apart from studies, HOPE also joins hands with different individual donors to work for the growth of children and arrange different physical social activities. Schools must conduct such trips to help students learn and experience new activities.

STUDENTS OF SZABIST PHILANTHROPIC ACTIVITY AT ZIA SCHOOL


Charity originates from the heart. Charity is the other name of sharing happiness. Contributing towards the underprivileged is like enlightening your own soul. As per the famous quote “You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you”. Charitable activity consists of donating basic human needs such as food, books, clothes, ration and educational items etc; basically items that can help the underprivileged in their daily life. There’s no better gift in giving back to the community, in order to make someone’s life better. Being a helping hand gives you an internal satisfaction and purifies your soul.

HOPE-an NGO in Pakistan, is a non-profit organization which always aims towards an educated and healthy society, where everyone has equal rights. HOPE works for the benefit of underprivileged communities, who are unable to receive quality education and health services.

SZABIST (Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology) provides quality educational services to its students. Apart from academics it also focuses on social welfare in which they organize different charitable and social activities, leading towards a self sufficiency and sustainable living in the society. SZABIST team consisting of four group members visited HOPE’s Zia School, where they conducted a social activity by distributing bags, pencil pouches and activity books among the children of primary level. It was an activity full of fun; they also had an interactive question/answer session with the students.  The students felt honored to receive new bags and stationary items. It was a joyful and happy day for all kids.

TYPHOID PREVENTION SESSION HELD AT HOPE ZIA SCHOOL


Typhoid is an acute illness associated with fever which is caused by the Salmonella Enterica Serotype Typhi bacteria. Typhoid Fever is caused by drinking or eating the bacteria present in contaminated food or water. It is a serious disease which is killed by using antibiotics; a proper vaccination is needed for its treatment. There are a lot of symptoms of typhoid fever such as headache, poor appetite, abdominal pain and many more. Pre Typhoid vaccination is given  to help people protect themselves from its occurrence.

The Government of Sindh initiated a program of immunization for the treatment of Typhoid in different districts of Karachi. A team of paramedics consisting of one doctor and five aid nurses visited HOPE’s Zia School, where they conducted a session on typhoid; related to the causes, symptoms and prevention from Typhoid fever. Furthermore the students of HOPE Zia School were given typhoid prevention vaccination through injections.







HOPE – a Health NGO in Pakistan conducts such preventive sessions for the sake of children to provide them a healthy life. About 188 children, of the age group between 3 years to 15 years old were given typhoid vaccination. This vaccination helps to protect against this disease and is about 50-55 percent effective when it comes to the prevention of typhoid. It was an open session where parents were also bringing their children who were not students of HOPE Zia School inorder to get them vaccinated.  The students who were studying in school were also coming along with their parents for the vaccination.

Doctors were also guiding the parents about how to take care of their children during typhoid fever, parents were being educated over the precautions from typhoid .  HOPE- an NGO in Pakistan always aims to provide better health to children and women and always works for their good health and education.

CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION WITH DR. MUBINA AGBOATWALLA


Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a child happy and smiling. Every child has the right to play and learn like others. Every society must focus on children’s rights. Children’s Day is celebrated to create awareness and to promote children’s welfare to make them aware of their rights, care and education. Different countries celebrate Children's Day by arranging some fun activities and interactive sessions for children and parents. This day emphasizes on giving love, attention and affection to children and ensure them that they are safe under our protection. A Child is the blessing of GOD, each with different abilities and capabilities, children are the creators and shapers of a nation’s tomorrow. 

HOPE- An NGO in Pakistan is providing the platform to serve children with equal rights. HOPE is a hope for the children who are unable to get education and health aid on equality basis. That is why HOPE celebrates Children’s Day to promote togetherness and awareness among children worldwide. Bosch Pharmaceuticals (pvt) ltd while focusing on a longer, healthier and happier living for people, also sponsored Children’s day which was celebrated at Sindh Govt Hospital on 20th November 2019. The children cut the cake along with Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla, Bosch Pharma’s Sales and Marketing Manager (Syed Moizuddin) and Sr. Area Sales Manager (M. Ahsan) were present at the time of cake cutting ceremony and attended the whole event with the children. It was a well-organized event, goody bags were distributed among the children, which brought a  smile on their innocent faces.

Mission bright smile conducted at HOPE’s Zia School


Oral hygiene is the practice of keeping one’s mouth clean and free from diseases such as gum disease, cavities, and tooth decay. Basically which can be achieved by brushing your teeth’s on regular basis. Teeth’s are the beauty of your smile, it is necessary for everyone to brush their teeth’s twice a day for a healthy lifestyle.

Colgate enlightens the practice of good oral hygiene by conducting sessions on oral hygiene in different schools. Likely this, Colgate conducted a session at HOPE’s Zia School for primary students. The activity was focused on educating the children good oral hygiene habits by showing them a cartoon based video and educating them how to take care of their teeth’s on daily basis. Colgate representative guided the children how to brush their teeth’s step by step with a sample of tooth brush and teeth’s she brought with her.




HOPE-An NGO in Pakistan, has different formal and informal schools in Sindh, Punjab and AJK. HOPE’s aim is to provide quality education to the students who cannot afford expensive education due to financial crisis. Along with regular studies, different extracurricular activities and knowledgeable sessions are also conducted to teach children other aspects of life

These fun filled informative sessions are important for the growth of children which helps them to learn different things in their daily life. HOPE-An Educational NGO in Pakistan, supports such activities for the benefit of children. Colgate conducted sessions for grade 1 till grade 5. It was a fun filled activity, students enjoyed a lot and question/answer session were also conducted by Colgate representative based on what they learned from the cartoon based oral hygiene video. Free samples including (a toothbrush, toothpaste and a monthly chart), in the form of gift packs were distributed among all children which brought bright smiles on their innocent faces.

Eid Milad Un Nabi celebrated with full devotion and zeal.


Rabi ul Awwal is the third month as per Islamic calendar. It is the most important day for Muslims as it is the birth month of our Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W). The 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal is marked as the birth date of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H), who is the last to be sent with the divine message for the guidance of humanity. This is the month of Celebration for all Muslim Ummah. Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated by the Muslims in East and West during the whole month of Rabi ul Awwal with Great Spirit and respect.

Keeping the tradition alive of arranging various religious programs at HOPE-an NGO in Pakistan, the occasion of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi was arranged on 5th Nov 2019. HOPE made tremendous seating and audio arrangements for the function. A grand function was celebrated with full zeal and zest. All colleagues from various schools and hospitals were gathered together for this prosperous occasion. Naats and Durood Pak were recited in remembrance of the life of Holy Prophet (SAWW) and his Sunnah was presented.

The occasion started with recitation of Holy Quran. Students of HOPE’s schools recited naats in their beautiful voices and everyone recited Qaseeda Burda Shareef with full enthusiasm and devotion. HOPE-An Educational NGO in Pakistan is always doing its best to create more ways which allow students to reveal their hidden talents, and on this occasion it was a great opportunity for students to show their love for our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) in their beautiful voices. Naats were recited by famous Naat Khuwans, Teachers and students in the way that it engaged the audience in the feeling of devotion.  Everyone celebrated the day with complete happiness and zeal.









In the end, Durood Pak was recited and Dua was made, as Dua is the key that Allah opens all doors of wishes. Special Dua was made for further progress of HOPE, that Allah make possible to help more people in future.

Celebrating theme party after Final term exams


Education is the process of learning. It makes you capable to differentiate between good or bad. As we have heard from the famous quote “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Education is the fundamental right of every child.
HOPE-An Educational NGO in Pakistan has established formal and informal schools in different areas of Pakistan to provide quality education to the ones who cannot afford it. HOPE’s aim is to provide equal rights to every child.

In Azad Kashmir, there are 35 schools established by HOPE in which more than 1876 students are studying. They just finished their second term exams, so the Schools organized a party for the students. To celebrate the end of the second term, teachers arranged an activity day with games and food.

It was a red colored theme party, all students wore red shirts and dresses. Different games like musical chair, tug of war and many more were played by the students. Paint activity was organized for primary students and some students performed on national songs. In the end everyone enjoyed snacks served by HOPE school. It was a day full of enjoyment and happiness.












The teachers of HOPE schools are working hard to prepare their students for the future. Along with academic knowledge, they make sure to include extra-curricular activities for their personality growth. HOPE school organized this activity to relax and refresh students to prepare them for Board exams.
