HOPE'S NETWORK OF FORMAL AND HOME SCHOOLS

Education is the cornerstone of a brighter future. HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan, is deeply committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their socioeconomic background has the opportunity to receive quality education. The organization believes that learning is the most powerful tool for children to realize their potential, grow into responsible individuals, and contribute positively to society.

HOPE runs a network of both formal schools and home schools across the country. The NGO has established three formal schools located in Karachi (Korangi), Thatta, and Muzaffargarh, providing education from preschool through matriculation. Staffed by highly qualified teachers, these schools serve over 1,700 enrolled students. The facilities rival those of private institutions, featuring computer and science laboratories alongside various recreational and extracurricular activities.

In addition, HOPE – An Educational NGO in Pakistan manages a widespread home school network throughout Pakistan. These schools operate from the homes of young women within local communities, making them easily accessible to nearby children. This model directly addresses a critical barrier to girls' education many families hesitate to send their daughters to distant schools, often causing girls to drop out after primary level. The home schools are led by young women pursuing their matriculation or intermediate studies, who pass on their knowledge to other girls in the neighborhood. Students are also encouraged to sit for private high school examinations. Remarkably, no tuition fees are charged, free textbooks are distributed, and HOPE supplies essential classroom items such as blackboards, chairs, tables, and floor mats.

Carrying forward this mission, Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi, continues to Provide both quality healthcare and basic education for underprivileged communities, staying true to HOPE's enduring legacy of empowerment through knowledge and care.
