The organization is spearheaded by the dynamic leadership of Dr.Mubina Agboatwalla – A child specialist in Karachi and continuously strives to improve the health and educational disparity of the deprived community in the country.

A very generous donation was made by a donor from Dubai who donated miscellaneous items such as toys, story books, copies, tables, chairs, uniforms, paints etc.

This donation made things a lot easier for the underprivileged people who are not able to achieve such items on normal basis, as they are already busy struggling to fulfill the daily ration needs and provide food on the table for their children and families.

Gifts bring pleasure to the receiver, especially the parents from underserved areas were over whelmed as their children received cloth items such children are usually deprived of good clothes, due to the low income of the bread-winner of the family barely suffices basic needs. These clothes brought beautiful smiles on the faces of children that cannot be explained through words.

HOPE team distributed the toys, story books, copies, tables, chairs, uniforms, paints etc to the needy children throughout Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, Muzaffargarh, Sujawal, Thatta, and thought various rural and slum areas of Karachi.

HOPE DISTRIBUTES BLANKETS TO THE NEEDY PEOPLE IN RURAL SLUMS

With the approaching winter season in Pakistan there are many people who are living below the line of poverty who do not have proper homes, clothes and quilts to protect them selves from the extreme cold. Poor destitute people who live on the footpath are bound to face the cold without woolen clothes or blankets. Hundreds of people die of shivery cold every year due to the lack of woolen clothes. Those people are helpless because of poverty.

Poor people are mostly engaged in labor work and they work without proper clothing and shelter and hence easily engulfed by coldness. Further, poor old age persons are the neglected section in the community and family and they don’t get proper clothing and housing facilities and hence face challenge in the cold seasons. In this situation there are death cases also in the state.

This is where HOPE -A Health NGO in Pakistan, comes as a ray of light towards the people who are helpless. HOPE has distributed blankets to the people who have no one to reach out to, during the winter seasons.  These blankets will protect the people from the piercing cold especially at night and help them get sound sleep without any fear and worry and there will be definitely some reduction in the number of deaths of shivery cold.

Giving blankets is a great way of helping out the community. Donations of blankets can make a great difference to an individual or organization, especially homeless. In the raining & freezing nights,  HOPE - An NGO in Pakistan, found many poor people living on the roads. There are millions of underprivileged who cannot afford even a blanket and die. without a roof or cloth on their bare bodies.

There is no better gift than providing warm blankets to the needy people during the winter season. Thousands of homeless experience the bitterness of winter and are at a great risk of suffering from severe illnesses. The rise in air pollution levels and the early onset of winter this year have made them vulnerable, but at the same time Under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi, the team distributed blankets to the needy people in slum and rural areas. This winter become a part of HOPE’s mission. There cannot be a bigger satisfaction than saving someone’s life.

HOPE USA DISTRIBUTES HAND SANITIZERS IN THE MASJIDS AND COMMUNITY

HOPE a Health NGO in Pakistan has always been active in emergency situations in which the need for rescue arises the most. In the past HOPE responded to emergencies by launching a hugerelief operation that covered medical aid, relief distribution, provision of safe drinking water, nutrition support and reconstruction of houses.

Since the rise of coronavirus cases globally. Many retail stores and pharmacies sell hand sanitizers. However, we understand that many retail stores have run out of hand sanitizers and they may be difficult to find as there is a very high demand for it, since hand sanitizers have become the need of the hour due to the most unpredictable Covid-19 pandemic which has a global impact.  To help increase the availability of hand sanitizers HOPE USA has recently distributed sanitizers in the Masjids and in thecommunity in order to facilitate as many individuals as they can during this pandemic.

Hand sanitizer destroys viruses that are similar to the novel coronavirus, so experts believe it will work against the novel coronavirus, too.Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol works best.

FDA recommends that consumers do not make their own hand sanitizer. If made incorrectly, hand sanitizer can be ineffective, and there have been reports of skin burns from homemade hand sanitizer. The agency lacks verifiable information on the methods being used to prepare hand sanitizer at home and whether they are safe for use on human skin. This is where HOPE -  An NGO in Pakistan considered the significance of the situation and distributed Hand sanitizers to the people so that they could minimize the spread of the deadly virus.

Studies have found that hand washing with soap is more effective than hand sanitizers. But alcohol-based hand sanitizers (with at least 60% alcohol) are a practical alternative when soap and water aren’t available. If you are using hand sanitizer then, just like when washing with soap and water, you need to make sure you cover your hands (including between your knuckles, wrists, palms, back of your hand and your fingernails) fully, rubbing it in for at least 20 seconds so it’s truly effective.

HOPE’s chairperson, Dr MubinaAgboatwalla –A Child Specialist in Karachi, has always been the guiding force in organizing and implementing such relief activities with great success. HOPE team, personally participated in the relief efforts by distributing the hand sanitizers to the people.

DOW MEDICAL CLASS OF '96 SPONSORS HOPE HOME SCHOOLS

Kashmir is known or said to be “The land of heaven”. The nature over there gives more peace of mind and the positive energy in oneself, it makes you feel fresh. Kashmir is the land of beauty. An inspiration for so much art, music and poetry, Kashmir is paradise; a nature lover’s wonderland and a shopper’s dream come true. Kashmir is best place for tourism. One of the schools is located on a mountaintop in Kashmir and caters to 50 students, who did not have access to education. HOPE TREE PLANTATION ACTIVITY IN BADIN

Tree Plantation is poised to effect a positive change in the world's forests growing fast growing trees on a global scale.

Considering the manifold benefits of trees, including that they release oxygen into the air, absorb unpleasant odors as well as harmful gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide from the air and purify it, protect us from dangerous ultra-violet rays, provide us with food and the pivotal role played by trees in preventing soil erosion, maintaining ecological balance and most especially in lessening the effects of global warming.

Plantation is not an option, but a necessity to save the country for future generations and topromote environmental welfare and for that reason HOPE- an NGO in Pakistan has initiated the tree plantation activity.

Planting a tree is a lifelong investment. How well this investment grows depends on the type of tree selected and the planting location, the care provided during planting, and the follow-up care after planting. Getting your new tree off to a healthy start will help the tree mature to its full size and ensures it will provide environmental, economic, and social benefits throughout its lifetime.

The Tree Plantation drive being conducted by HOPE is sponsored by The Bokhari Foundation, who collaborated with HOPE - a Health NGO in Pakistan, for the plantation of trees in the district of Badin.

On the sites selected approximately 180 plants have been decided upon for plantation. Trees such as Gulmohar, Neem, Eucalyptus, Ashoka, Sukh Chain, Peepal etc. These trees will have a tremendous impact on climate change

Some of the very obvious benefits that tree plantation has is: Trees provide oxygen, they cleanse the air, prevent water pollution, conserve energy, most importantly they provide for wood which in turn increases the timber market production and boosts the business.

Under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla- a child specialist in Karachi, HOPE is dedicated to improving the condition in Pakistan, by all necessary means which also includes tree plantation.

HOPE will move on to searching for more sites where trees can be planted, while those which had already been planted will be well looked after. HOPE wishes to combat climate change through such activities.
