HOPE DISTRIBUTED RATION BAGS TO THE NEEDY PEOPLE IN THATTA

Due to lack of financial stability, many families worry about from where their next meal will be coming from. Whilst many of us enjoy three meals a day, but for many families in Pakistan, this is a mere dream. On average, over half of a family’s income is spent on food and 44% of children under the age of five are stunted due to malnutrition.

HOPE-An NGO in Pakistan distributed ration among the needy students and families of the communities at Thatta and the needy people residing in the area. Serving a whole better purpose of charity and was a great help to the underprivileged people.

The ration bags provided consisted of various items such as milk ghee, flour, cooking oil, sugar, pulses, rice, tea leaf, soap, detergent, salt, spices etc.which sums up to the basic needs required in any household. The children and people were very happy to receive the ration bags. it was a feeling of relief during this hard time of inflation.

The staff at HOPE – A Health NGO in Pakistan, distributed the ration bags among the neediest families of Thatta.  The children and people were delighted to receive the ration bags as they belong to low-income class who cannot even afford to buy basic grocery on regular basis. Seeing the innocent smiles on the faces of these children is extremely gratifying and it affirms our belief that all the efforts, the hassle, the obstacles are worth going through just to see a smile on the faces of these children who can’t afford the basic necessities of life.

EID GIFT DISTRIBUTION AT HOPE HOME SCHOOLS- KASHMIR

Eid is a joyous occasion for all the Muslims. The true essence of Eid can be accomplished through sharing happiness with deprived people. If people from poor class remain famished; the whole happiness of Eid will tarnish.

Eid Al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and also well known as the festival of “Breaking the Fast”. Millions of Muslims around the world gather with their family and friends, attending morning prayers, giving donations to charity and having feasts together. HOPE- An NGO in Pakistan, with its promise to stand by with Pakistani citizens in any sort of need has once again depicted solidarity with the deprived children of our nation.

HOPE- an Educational NGO in Pakistan, after organizing iftar dinners at its formal schools and home schools throughout the nation, demonstrated the philanthropic spirit by distributing Eid gifts among their studentsat the Home schools in Kashmir.

Kashmir includes many districts some of which were targeted by HOPE for the distribution of Eid clothes, the districts are as follows: Malsi, Parour, Habib dori, Dhanibakian, Banilangryal, Dakhnakarbani.

The students who study in these schools are the children of laborers, drivers, maids who work in the houses to earn a living for them. These students are living under the poverty line. Even the thought of having books and going to school is nothing, but a mere imagination and a dream for the children studying in these schools.

HOPE under the supervision of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla- A Child Specialist in Karachi, will keep working hard to improve the living standard of the children and poor communities by fulfilling their basic rights and bringing smiles on their faces.

Their euphoric expressions at viewing those gifts and their feelings at being included in the festivities of Eid were extremely satisfying. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child’s face brighten up, as they were given Eid clothes, this was the perfect opportunity to make their Eid extra special. Their gratifying expressions at viewing those clothes and their feelings at being included in the festivities of Eid were extremely satisfying.

IFTAR AND GIFT DISTRIBUTIONAT ZIA COLONY

Zia Colony, with its destiny quivered and with its faith solaced has had its fair share of bad draughts. However, there’s always a silver lining in a dark cloud. In Zia’s case, that silver lining is HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan.  HOPE has been a token of selflessness since its inception. A school along with a hospital, established at Zia. Zia always, being under-privileged and idyllic in nature is now on the route to advancement because of the noble work done by HOPE and its donors.

While arranging Iftar dinners for various HOPE schools, the school in Zia was not forgotten and an Iftar party was also arranged at Zia Hospital for the students and staff of HOPE Zia School as well as the staff of HOPE Zia Hospital. The evening was filled with ecstasy. An approximate of 280 people were present, which included a hefty number of children and staff members. These people were none other than the beneficiaries of the magnanimity of HOPE

The Iftar party was organized under the surveillance of Dr.Mubina Agboatwalla– A Child Specialist in Karachi and chairperson of HOPE.

During the Iftar students, who are enrolled in Zia Formal School, started their iftar in an enchanted manner, the joy on the faces of the HOPE helpers was priceless. What for most of us is a routine iftar, turned out to be a festival for them. The delight on the faces of those children proved that they are extremely happy with the Iftar arranged by HOPE – A Health NGO in Pakistan.

The iftar dinner was followed by distribution of Eid clothes, which further increased their happiness and excitement. The children were really eager to receive the Eid clothes, as they belong to the families who can hardly afford new clothes for any occasion. Eventually, the evening had to come to an end. But what came out of it, “their happiness” which was priceless. What were before iftar, scrawny faces with eyes sucked deep into their sockets, were now faces filled with ecstasy and complacency.  All of this has to be credited to HOPE and its donors.
