EID MILAD UN NABI CELEBRATED WITH FULL DEVOTION AT HOPE GURUMANDIR HOSPITAL

After the successful event of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi at the HOPE Head office, the Staff of HOPE Gurumandir Hospital and office arranged the celebration of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi at the HOPE General Hospital and Maternity Home Gurumandir on Friday the 14th of October 2022. 

Eid Milad-un-Nabi is the birthday of the Prophet and is observed in a similar way by Muslims around the world. The third month in Islamic Calendar, Rabi Al Awwal falls after the holy month of Muharram and Safar. 'Milad un Nabi', this day is observed as a public holiday in many countries with a large Muslim population as it commemorates the anniversary of the birth of the founder of Islam and the proclaimer of the Quran.

In these Milad gatherings, all the students and staff members of HOPE Zia Colony School and Hospital, and Informal schools of HOPE - An NGO in Pakistan take an active part. Students and teachers prepare naats and remember the teaching of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Remembering his teachings gives a sense of forgiveness and satisfaction to the people who are working for the betterment of this society by extending a helping hand towards the poor.





The occasion started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Students of HOPE’s schools recited naats in their beautiful voices. HOPE - An Educational NGO in Pakistan is always doing its best to create more ways which allows students to reveal their hidden talents, and on this occasion, it was a great opportunity for students to show their love for our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) in their beautiful voices. Naats were recited by famous Naat Khuwans, Teachers and students in the way that it engaged the audience in the feeling of devotion.  Everyone celebrated the day with complete happiness and zeal.

Under the leadership of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi, the event ended filling the hearts with joy and mind with inner peace, of all those who were present there. Everyone was served with delicious Biryani, sweets and cold drinks.

HOPE TEAM SETS OUT TO HELP THE FLOOD VICTIMS AT RANIPUR, DADU & LARKANA

Many rural areas of Pakistan especially interior Sindh and the Northern areas have been affected by these rain spells and flood, as the house of the underprivileged population have been destroyed. Along with which all their belongings and food items have been washed away.  These poor people live hand to mouth and do not have any other resources for survival.

HOPE – A Health NGO in Pakistan is doing its level best to create ease for the people, who have lost their homes and shelters due to the recent floods. Through the generous help of its donors, HOPE team made a whole-hearted, meaningful effort of going all the way from Karachi to various cities in Sindh, Punjab, Baluchistan and AJK for the distribute ration, drinking water, cooked food, cooking oil and other supplies to poor and needy families devastated by the recent floods.

HOPE - An NGO in Pakistan, through the generous help of its donors made a whole-hearted, meaningful effort of going all the way from Karachi to distribute much needed ration, drinking water and supplies to poor and needy families in Ranipur, Dadu and Larkana, devastated in the recent floods and without any means of sustenance.





The ration bags provided consisted of various items such as dry milk, ghee, flour, cooking oil, sugar, pulses, rice, tea leaf, soap, detergent, salt, spices etc. which sums up to the basic needs required in any household. The children and people stranded there were very happy to receive the ration bags, it was a feeling of relief during this hard time when people have nothing to eat or drink. By providing ration bags and drinking water to these floods effected victims, it has helped them a lot during these difficult times.

The Chairperson of HOPE  Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla – A Child Specialist in Karachi has plans to help in rehabilitation of the fallen houses.  HOPE team, personally participated in the flood relief efforts and in this case too, traveled all the way to Ranipur, Dadu and Larkana as well as the surrounding areas to ensure that the relief activity is carried out with efficiency and maximum number of flood victims are benefited.

EID-E-MILAD-UN-NABI CELEBRATIONS BY HOPE

The last prophet of Islam, Prophet Mummmad (peace and blessings be upon him) was born in the third month of the Islamic year, which is Rabi ul-Awwal. Milad-un-Nabi is the birthday of the Prophet and is observed in a similar way by Muslims around the world. The third month in Islmaic Calendar, Rabi Al Awwal falls after the holy month of Muharram and Safar.

Eid-e-Milad comprises of recitation of religious poems to celebrate the praises of the Holy Prophet, are held by Muslims during the month of Rabiulawal, the third month of the Muslim calendar. Commonly also renowned as 'Milad un Nabi', this day is observed as a public holiday in many countries with a large Muslim population as it commemorates the anniversary of the birth of the founder of Islam and the proclaimer of the Quran.

Every year Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated in the schools and hospitals of HOPE – AN NGO in Pakistan, to bring religious unity among the students and staff members. It also gives a chance to the students to show their talent.




Keeping the tradition alive of arranging various religious programs at HOPE, this year the occasion of Eid-Milad-un-Nabi was arranged on 04th October 2022 at the head office.

Sweets, biryani and refreshments were distributed among the students and guests. The HOPE staff made all the seating and audio arrangements for the event.  Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi, also attended the event to encourage the children and applaud their efforts.
