DEMONSTRATION & DISTRIBUTION OF P&G WATER PURIFIER SACHETS AT LINK ROAD

Water is crucial for survival. However, it must be pure, clean, and safe to drink. Clean drinking water is vital for human health and well-being, acting as a fundamental need and human right. It's essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  Access to clean water is crucial for preventing water-borne illnesses, regulating body temperature, aiding digestion, and supporting overall health. 

HOPE – A health NGO in Pakistan, has partnered with Procter & Gamble Pakistan to ensure access to clean water by providing P&G Purifier of water sachets to impoverished communities. These sachets are utilized to create safe drinking water.

 A single sachet can purify as much as 10 liters of brackish water. Unlike many other available products, P&G Purifier of Water does not leave a salty or sour after-taste. The Pur demonstration team from HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan, highlighted the dangers associated with consuming unsafe and contaminated water to a large part of the population residing at Link Road and informed them about the advantages of clean, healthy water provided by P&G purifier.

On Saturday, May 9th, 2025, the HOPE team showcased the method of purifying water using sachets of P&G Purifier at Link Road. A number of individuals attended the session where they discovered the significance of consuming clean water and learned how to prepare it independently at home. Each participant received a purification kit that included a cooler, a bucket, a muslin cloth, a spatula, and 150 sachets of P&G Purifier of Water

Under the guidance of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist based in Karachi, the goal is to assist the community by ensuring access to clean water, thereby decreasing the incidence of illnesses, particularly in children. Furthermore, this initiative will also create a chance to enhance living standards and boost immunity.

EHSAAS TRUST COLLABORATES WITH HOPE TO MAKE EID SPECIAL FOR THE STUDENTS OF HOPE SCHOOL

Generosity for its own sake creates a more compassionate, community-focused world. Since the establishment of HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan, it has already helped tens of thousands of young people throughout Pakistan.

During the blessed month of Ramadan 2025, Ehsaas Trust which is a UK based charitable organization, collaborated with HOPE to distribute Eid Gifts to the under privileged children of HOPE School, Zia Colony, Korangi. Gifts in the form of Suits and Eid Clothes, were given to 250 students of the School.

Ehsaas is a UK registered aid and development charity with 16 years of grass-roots experience in several countries around the world especially in Pakistan.

Ehsaas helps low income families to alleviate their poverty and suffering by taking care of their basic necessities of food, water, shelter, health, education and employment – all without compromising their dignity. In addition, Ehsaas also rapidly implements emergency humanitarian relief in areas that have been struck by calamity.

HOPE – An Educational NGO in Pakistan, truly appreciates the generous outreach initiative by Ehsaas Trust towards the students of its School.  

The students studying at HOPE school come from rural areas and are financially unstable, their parents cannot afford to buy them new clothes for Eid.  Their families face challenges in meeting fundamental needs such as education, healthcare, and even food. This initiative by Ehsaas Trust certainly made Eid much brighter for hundreds of  HOPE School Students, and we feel incredibly fortunate for their assistance in making Eid ul Fitr 2025 memorable for them.

HOPE INAUGURATES ITS VOCATIONAL CENTER IN MUZAFFARGARH

HOPE DISTRIBUTES RATION AND GHEE AMONG THE COMMUNITIES AT LINK ROAD.

 

HOPE - An NGO in Pakistan distributes rations among the poor every year throughout Ramadan. The teams were sent to distribute the ration bags among the needy households at various HOPE Communities including hospitals and schools, where vans filled with food items and ration bags were sent to different slum areas of Karachi, rural areas of Sindh, Muzaffargarh and Azad Jammu and Kashmir for distribution among needy households

Last week, HOPE - A Health NGO in Pakistan, handed out ration bags to the local residents of Link Road. Approximately 120 ration bags were given to families in the surrounding area and nearby communities.

The team at HOPE also provided ghee alongside the rations to make sure that the support of HOPE reaches those in need, as it has consistently done. For several years now, HOPE has been dedicated to helping communities in these impoverished areas to alleviate their hardships, with this latest effort being the distribution of rations.

The ration bags that were distributed were placed right at the doorsteps of families in need to preserve their self-esteem. The team assembled over 100 ration bags, each containing essential items necessary for any household. The contents of the ration bags included various products like dry milk, ghee, flour, cooking oil, sugar, pulses, rice, tea leaves, soap, salt, and spices, which cover the fundamental needs of a household. The families expressed great joy upon receiving the ration bags, experiencing a sense of relief during this Ramadan period.

HOPE DISTRIBUTED IFTAR BOXES AND RATION BAGS AT BILAL COLONY KORANGI

 

Recently HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan, distributed, Ration bags and Iftar Boxes among the community members, children and patents at the MCH Center of Bilal Colony, Korangi.  Around 100 ration bags were distributed among the patients’ families at the MCH Centers as well as the people residing in the nearby areas.

In addition to providing Eid outfits, iftar meals, and cooked food, the HOPE team has been delivering ration bags to families in need throughout Ramadan. These ration bags were handed out to underprivileged and needy families in Bilal colony and nearby areas.

Recently food items and ration bags were distributed at the door steps of needy families to avoid hurting their feelings. More than 1000 ration bags were distributed among the needy families.

The team will keep on distributing rations until Ramadan concludes. The children and patients were overjoyed to receive the rations, as they come from low-income families who struggle to afford basic groceries and fully enjoy Ramadan and Eid. Witnessing the joyful smiles on the children's faces is incredibly rewarding and reinforces our belief that all the hard work, challenges, and hurdles we face are worthwhile, just to bring smiles to the faces of these children who cannot fully celebrate the festivities of Ramadan and Eid. HOPE ORGANIZES ITS ANNUAL GRAND IFTAR AT KORANGI

HOPE organized a charitable iftar gathering  on Monday 17^th March 2025, for all the children and students from its schools and vocational centers in Karachi and interior Sindh. This event was more than just an elaborate iftar meal; it represented the love and compassion that the HOPE - An NGO in Pakistan extends to these underprivileged children.

The Iftar venue was located in Korangi and was ready to welcome the students coming from various HOPE schools, (formal and informal both included), and vocational centers located in Bilal Colony, Zia Colony Bhitaiiabad, Sachal Goth, Bhens Colony, Rerhi Goth, and Ghaggar.

Approximately 1000 students from various schools and vocational centers participated in the event, along with their faculty members. They were seated in long rows. Considering the warm season, pedestal fans were positioned every few meters to ensure the comfort of the students and guests.

The employees of HOPE – A Health NGO in Pakistan made sure everybody was seated and served proper quantity of food. At sunset, everybody broke their fast with dates and savored the delicious food items including samosas, puff pastries, kebabs, spring rolls, bananas, dates and a variety of sharbats.  The food was more than enough for everyone. The Students were grateful for arranging such a grand iftar event for them.

After the iftari, Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - A Child Specialist in Karachi distributed Eid clothes and gifts among the children. The happiness which reflected from their eyes upon receiving such pretty Eid clothes, which they could not afford otherwise.  The event concluded with a delightful dinner featuring delicious chicken biryani, enjoyed by the students. Afterwards, the children formed a line once more to get on their buses, heading back to their schools and then home. The day wrapped up with joy and unforgettable memories. Both the students and volunteers will always hold this event in their hearts.

HOPE’S DISTRIBUTION OF IFTAR AND COOKED FOOD AMONG NEEDY

 Occasionally, a small deed can have a profound impact on someone else's life. Philanthropy doesn't always involve donating extravagant and large gifts to those in need; rather, it can mean catering to their fundamental necessities, like supplying essential food items. The most effective approach to delivering food to the community is by bringing it directly to their homes.

Residents living in remote regions throughout Karachi are undeniably in great need and strive to make ends meet, keeping this in mind HOPE - A Health NGO in Pakistan provides help to them in the form of cooked food distribution. Recently HOPE provided cooked food to the underprivileged communities residing at Bilal Colony, Bhitaiyabad and 100 Quarter, Korangi.  The team members of HOPE – An NGO in Pakistan, distributed biryani packets to the children and family’s members in these areas.

The members of these neighborhoods come from lower-income families who occasionally have the opportunity to enjoy such generous meals due to financial limitations. Therefore, upon receiving the biryani, one could observe the joy and happiness reflected in their eyes.  These activities are conducted under the supervision of Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla - AChild Specialist in Karachi, she personally looks into the selection of sites based upon the need for food distribution.

Approximately 500 plus biryani packets have been distributed in these underprivileged areas. This kind deed brought smiles on the faces of these children. HOPE continues to provide cooked food and ration to the needy communities throughout the month of Ramzan
